ok so I have found a few bugs AND I have a request for the game
1. [BUG] You can run while standing in place but all it does is drain your stamina (this is a common glitch in literally every horror game) (idk if you understand what glitch I’m talking about)
2. [FEATURE] Make the Arms an option in the settings (someone might want to keep them and it kinda makes the game harder) OR make Alberto only have arms in hard mode
3. [BUG] the audio of Alberto gets disoriented when you move around/move your camera around too much (the death and jump scare sounds play normal)
4. [VISUAL BUG] The stamina bar shows a little bit of emptiness/doesn’t look like it’s filled up all the way (kinda confusing but maybe I could show you a picture)
also I have a few questions about this game (and then I will do my best in not bothering you)
1. What is the origin of the monkey image? I can tell it’s an obvious orangutan
2. How did you come up with the name Alberto? Or was this game a homage to something else?
3.why did you make Alberto a 3D Oval? (I love it lol) (also I could tell you did this with the character in your other horror game “Black Forest” which is similar to this one)
4. Will you update your Black Forest game?

Thank you for commenting, and don’t worry, answering these are the highlight of my day.
The image for the monkey is just a random photo of an orangutan, not much backstory for it.
The name Alberto is from a short children’s story that I wrote in middle school. It’s been so long that I don’t think it can be recovered. I got the name for that from my teacher.
I made the character an oval for two reasons. First, I was making this game for a school project, which meant that I had a limited amount of time to complete it. Secondly, my skills in modeling and animation were pretty much nonexistent.
I will definitely not be updating black forest. Maybe in the far future I will remake it, but I want to keep that game on here to look back on.
You asking these questions has really made me think as well as rekindled my passion for game development. Thank you

oh also where did you get the sounds for the monkey from? And is it a real monkey or no?
Also what is the orgin of the music?

The monkey sounds were actually made by my friend. They sound quite believable.
The music is from a free mp3 website, I don’t remember exactly which one.

I will be keeping the stamina because it gives some difficulty, but I may adjust the maximum and drain speed.
I will definitely get rid of the arms. I added those as a last minute joke, but I didn’t mean for them to stay.
I will change back the title of the game, but I will be thinking of a better one for the future.

Yes it is sad that Alberto will only be a temporary title but maybe the next title will be better in a later date?(I could suggest some but they would prob be something like “Alberto’s home” or something like that)

I have no idea if the game is supposed to have a way out of the house or not as I walked through every single part of the maze that I could access and I couldn't find a key or anything that led me out of the house. I was pretty anxious about the monkey at first before letting it hug me, realising that I don't die from getting hugged by the monkey XD. Would be cool if there were more things to do in the game.

Thank you so much for playing my game! This game is in a really early build, the only reason I put it up was for some friends to playtest it. I am actively adding more features and gameplay to make it an enjoyable experience. Perhaps if you checked it out in a couple of weeks it would be more fun.
